Rally of Peasants-Peasant women in Kurigram. Memorandum containing 14 points to DC

Bangladesh Krishok Federation and Bangladesh Kishani Sabha jointly organized a rally  and procession on 9 October 2002 in the district town of Kurigram demanding 14-points including food, work, distribution of Khaslans and the abandoned railway land among the landless, that of Khas water bodies among real landless  and fisher folk. At end the rally memorandum containing the above demands were handed over to the Deputy Commissioner of Kurigram dictrict. Thousands of peasants, landless, women as well as toiling masses take part in the rally. The central leaders of BKF and BKS spoke to the rally.

Rally and placing floral wreath by 8-organizations including Bangladesh Krishok Federation in Santal Revolt Day in Dinajpur

On 30 June 2002 the activities of Santal Peasant Day started in front of Santal temple situated in Balubari under Dinajpur district through placing floral wreath in the monument built for the sacrifice of rebellions. The procession brought out jointly by Bangladesh Krishok Federation, Bangladesh Kishani Sabha, Bangladesh Adivasi Samity, Bangladesh Floating labor Union, Bangladesh Floating Women Labor Union, Bangladesh Rural Intellectual Front, Gano Chhaya Sanskritic Kendra and Revolutionary Youth Association paraded different streets and ended in front of Lokobhaban in Dinajpur. Afterwards discussion meeting took place in Lokobhaban.  In the meeting the leaders discussed the historic role of Sindhu, Kanu, Chand and Bairab who led the Santal revolt against the British ruler in 1855.

A rally and agitated procession was organized by a coalition of 8-organizations comprising Bangladesh Krisok Federation, Bangladesh Kishani Sabha, Bangladesh Adivasi Samity, Bangladesh Floating labor Union, Bangladesh Floating Women Labor Union, Bangladesh Rural Intellectual Front, Gano Chhaya Sanskritic Kendra and Revolutionary Youth Association at Muktangan in the capital city of Dhaka on 8 July 2002 demanding the arrest, trial, and punishment of those who tried to kill Badrul Alam and withdrawal of the false case filed against  Keemrul Alam Suman.

Kishan-Kishani rally in Patharghata: Demand for settlement of Khasland among landless

On 17 January 2002 in Patharghata Thana under Borguna a huge Kishan-Kishani rally was organized jointly by Bangladesh Krishok Federation and Bangladesh Kishai Sabha. Thousands of peasants, peasant women and women hailing from almost all different unions joined the rally. The rally strongly called upon the government for the distribution of all Khaslands including that of Haringhata.
