Bangladesh Krishok Federation and Bangladesh Kishani Sabha believe in internationalization of the struggle. Thus the struggle of the right of peasants, laborers, landless, indigenous, fisher folk, women and youth is not an isolated one, it is rather closely connected with struggle of emancipation of the working people all over the world. This is why, BKF and BKS are intimately involved in different international action and radical networks including La Via Campesina, Asian Peasant Coalition, Peoples Global Action, etc.

As Bangladesh Krishok Federation and Bangladesh Kishani Sabha on the one hand hosted and attended different international programs successfully, on the other hand, activists in behalf of working people of various countries visited Bangladesh to get to know of the struggle of BKF and BKS, to express solidarity, achieve knowledge on land occupation movement.

31 Climate workshops in Bangladesh

Bangladesh Krishok Federation and Bangladesh Kishani Sabha organized 31 workshops in different parts of Bangladesh from 17th December 2009 to 27th January 2010. Those workshops were organized to asses the impact of climate change, and its future consequences as well as the social responsibility in this regard. Teacher of the RMIT University, Australia, Cathryn Kriewaldt was facilitator. She also attended a climate rally in Barisal organized by BKF and BKS district committee.
